In a letter to staff, David Ryan of Rhino Africa says there is simply no place at his company for anyone who isn’t prepared to adhere to this simple gesture of humanity.
He added that businesses should set an example and follow science.
Meanwhile, the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 14,271 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa in the last 24 hours.

A total of 473 more COVID-19-related deaths take the death toll to 76,247.
The Western Cape has recorded over 3,700 new cases.
